Job summary

Trifecta Recruitment has partnered with a respected Victorian commercial builder delivering new build, refurbishment and fitout projects across multiple sectors up to $60m. The firm seeks a Contract Administrator to join a high-performing team and manage subcontractor relations, variations and financial planning.

You will work closely with Project Managers and site teams, ensuring delivery of diverse commercial projects while maintaining strong client relationships and a proactive career

Qualifications

• CA experience in Commercial Construction required.
• Victoria-based experience essential.
• Delivery of commercial projects in the $5M-$60M range.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial oversight.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Letting and vetting subcontractors, writing scopes and awarding subcontracts.
• Managing subcontractor variations, progress claims and commercial administration.
• Financial forecasting, cost tracking and budget management.
• Assisting head contract administration and client management.
• Collaborating with PMs and site teams to deliver projects.

Trifecta Recruitment have partnered with a highly respected Commercial builder who specialise in delivering new build, refurbishment and fitout projects across the Retail, Commercial, Education, Childcare and Light Industrial sectors up to $60m.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint a Contract Administrator to join their high-performing, diverse team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a financially secure builder where you'll work alongside experienced industry leaders while delivering a diverse range of Commercial projects valued between $5M - $60M.

Your New Role

• Letting and vetting subcontractors, writing scopes and awarding subcontracts.
• Managing subcontractor variations, progress claims and commercial administration.
• Financial forecasting, cost tracking and budget management.
• Assisting with head contract administration and client management.
• Working closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.

What You Need To Succeed

• Experience as a Contract Administrator within Commercial Construction.
• Local Victorian construction CA experience is essential.
• Previously delivery of Commercial new build, fitout or refurbishment projects within a similar value.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to develop your career.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or similar will be highly regarded.
