Job summary

Bayside Council is seeking a Contract Administrator x2 to support major projects including the Botany Aquatic Centre. You will deliver high-level contract administration, support the Superintendent's Representative, and ensure contracts are managed to budget, time, and quality requirements.

You will work with project managers, consultants and contractors to advise on procurement, compliance and delivery, contributing to successful project outcomes through financial oversight and robust contract

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in contract administration, contract management or a similar role within construction or capital works.
• Demonstrated experience administering AS4902, AS4000, GC21 or similar construction contracts.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, contract management and construction delivery processes.
• Experience reviewing project costs, variations, progress claims and contractor performance.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Administer construction contracts including AS4902, AS4000 and GC21 contracts.
• Assess variations, progress claims, contractor performance and contractual compliance.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, schedules and financial performance.
• Conduct site inspections and support quality assurance and compliance activities.
• Provide contract management advice and support across Council's capital works program.
• Engage with contractors, consultants and key stakeholders to support project delivery.
