Job summary

Parklife Metro JV, employed by Webuild, is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team based at Orchard Hills, Badgerys Creek or Bradfield. You will support the commercial and contractual management of construction activities, collaborating with Project, Construction, Engineering, Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure obligations are met and project outcomes achieved.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract administration or similar role within construction or major infrastructure projects.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience administering subcontract agreements.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer subcontract and commercial activities in accordance with project requirements and contractual obligations.
• Support the preparation, review and management of subcontract agreements, scopes of work, purchase orders and related documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, progress and compliance against contractual requirements.
• Assist with the preparation and assessment of progress claims, variations, extensions of time and other contractual notices.
• Maintain accurate records of contractual correspondence, notices, claims, variations and commercial documentation.
• Review subcontractor claims and supporting documentation and work with the project team to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with the identification, assessment and management of commercial and contractual risks.
• Work closely with Site Managers, Project Engineers, Construction Managers and other project stakeholders to ensure commercial matters are addressed in a timely manner.
• Assist with the management and close-out of variations, claims, disputes and other commercial matters.
• Support the preparation of monthly commercial reports, forecasts and cost-to-complete information.
• Support the Commercial Manager and broader Commercial team with ad hoc commercial and contractual activities
