Job summary

CIP Construction in Melbourne is seeking a motivated Contract Administrator to join our growing team, delivering high-quality commercial and industrial projects.

Reporting to the Project Manager and State Manager, you will manage contracts, cost control, and stakeholder coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery across all project phases. This role collaborates with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients to achieve results.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in construction-related field (or currently studying).
• 2–3 years’ experience in contract administration within commercial/industrial construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and review tender packages with scopes of work and docs.
• Assess subcontractor submissions, negotiate pricing, and manage subcontract agreements.
• Administer head and subcontract contracts, including variations, EOTs and claims.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, variations and cost reports.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow and financial performance to ensure margins.
