Job summary

Civil and Scape is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our delivery division in Sydney. You will support site teams, manage budgets, programmes and contracts, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Strong communication, IT skills and White Card are essential. You will report to the General Manager, liaise with stakeholders and suppliers, develop estimating templates, and contribute to continuous improvement across landscapes and civil projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications preferred.
• Over 4 years’ experience in a similar role (Construction, Civil and Landscaping Contract Administrator experience) is desirable.
• Proven ability to manage contracts, budgets and programmes.
• Advanced knowledge of landscape and/or civil construction methodologies and materials.
• Competent with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Project etc.

Responsibilities

• Support site team to deliver live projects on time and on budget.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to coordinate works, deliveries and purchase orders.
• Prepare and manage project budget.
• Manage and track project delivery programme.
• Prepare payment claims and variations in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Review contracts and related documentation (AS4000, AS4906 etc.).
• Prepare documentation and tools to assist site team and Senior Management.
• Manage drawing register for live projects to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor department performance and implement improvement strategies.
• Coordinate with estimating division and develop templates and databases.
• Be the primary contact for all matters relating to the department.
• Communicate with Senior Leadership on issues promptly.
• Oversee delivery of projects from start to finish with minimal senior management input.
