Contract Administrator Vacancy

Ace Civil Pty Ltd have a vacancy for a Contract Administrator position. Our company is located in South Granville, NSW. Founded in Sydney, Australia in 2018, ACE is a full-service early works contractor working in the construction industry. Services include Asbestos Removal, Demolition, Earthworks, Civil Works, Piling, Shoring Systems and Contaminated Site Management. Situated within the corporate structure of the Ace Group, the group is a large-scale employer in the building and construction industry and has management of numerous construction projects. We have experienced unprecedented growth in recent years which has created a number of employment opportunities.


Key tasks and responsibilities of the role include the following:


  • Draft, develop, review and negotiate contracts and deeds of variation for commercial construction programs, works projects and provision of services

  • Engage corporate partners in negotiations while advancing company strategic interests

  • Analyse contractual offers for potential commercial risks involved with specific terms, warranties and guarantees

  • Clarify terms and conditions to corporate managers, quantity surveyors, civil engineers and contractual parties

  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues concerning company contracts, construction programs, commercial projects, services provided and affected entities

  • Administer corporate contracts, including the management, storage and retrieval of wet-ink executed paper-based documents and electronically executed contracts for corporate operations

  • Liaise and work with company director, administration manger, site managers, civil engineers and other professionals to ensure that project timelines and developments goals are met

  • Advise company director and senior management on specific issues and matters requiring their attention and implementing their decisions

  • Monitor corporate deadlines are maintained and ensure key contractual conditions are met

  • Supervise and report on applied variations to contractual terms and work orders

  • Prepare and review proposals, submissions and reports concerning commercial activities and construction operations

  • Review and arrange new office accommodation and storage facilities for corporate asset pool

  • Collect, maintain and analyse data on construction projects and reporting on commercial outcomes

  • Standardise language across corporate contracts and construction project development and planning documentation


Key skills and experience required:


  • AQF diploma, advanced diploma, associate degree or higher, or alternatively, three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications (with overseas obtained qualifications being considered where the qualification is assessed as suitable)

  • One year of work experience in the occupation, or three years where applicant relies on work experience in lieu of formal qualifications

  • Proficiency in the English language

  • Excellent communication - both written and verbal

  • Strong understanding of workplace WHS procedures

  • Demonstrated operational experience in building and civil projects

  • Satisfactory experience with quality assurance procedures and policy compliance


Salary level on offer for the position is $96,106.00 per annum plus superannuation.
