Curtin University is seeking a Content Designer to enhance digital journeys for prospective students. You will design, audit and improve website content to ensure clarity, accessibility and purposeful user experiences, aligned with Curtin’s Digital Experience Strategy.
You’ll work with cross-functional teams and leverage analytics to reduce friction and improve findability and conversions across Curtin’s websites.
As our Digital Experience team continues to grow and evolve, we’re looking for a Content Designer to join the team and help improve some of Curtin’s most impactful digital journeys.
The Content Designer plays a pivotal role in improving Curtin’s digital experience by using content to solve problems across complex user journeys. This role is responsible for designing, auditing and improving website content so it is clear, useful, accessible and purposeful for prospective students, aligned with Curtin’s Digital Experience Strategy and Content Strategy.
This role is responsible for ensuring that the content on the Curtin website effectively supports prospective students as they explore their options, build understanding, and navigate their interactions with Curtin University, helping users achieve their goals confidently and leading to higher user satisfaction, engagement, and improved recruitment outcomes. This includes identifying friction, duplication, unclear pathways and content gaps, then working with others to improve the experience through better content design.
Working closely with the Manager, Experience Design and the Digital Experience team, the Content Designer collaborates with teams across University Marketing and other key stakeholders, developing a deep knowledge of Curtin’s products, processes and audience to inform their work. As the team continues to develop its capability, this is an opportunity to join an established function with strong connections across content, UX, design and digital delivery.
You will use user research, analytics and UX principles to improve key journeys and enrich digital content across Curtin's websites, creating experiences that empower users to progress with confidence, whether they are exploring possibilities, comparing options or completing key actions.
This role requires a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and an in-depth understanding of user behaviour and UX principles to drive website conversions and support critical business outcomes.
This role sits within our Digital Experience team, where we design and deliver digital experiences that turn ambition into opportunity – helping future students understand their options, make confident choices and take meaningful steps toward study, growth and impact.
This Continuing G07 role attracts a remuneration of $ 109,277 - $117,331 (G07) plus 17% superannuation and competitive benefits.
