Job summary

Attwood Marshall Lawyers is seeking a part-time content writer to work three days a week with our Media & Marketing Manager. You will research, interview experts, and craft articles and campaigns across a range of legal topics, turning complex information into engaging content for clients and communities.

You will plan and create website content, newsletters and thought leadership, while optimising for SEO and adapting to AI-driven search trends.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing and interviewing skills.
• Experience in content marketing, communications, journalism, or a similar environment.
• Ability to take technical or complex subjects and make them clear and engaging.
• Strong editorial judgement and ability to identify compelling angles.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple pieces at different stages.
• Understanding of SEO and how AI/answer-based search changes behavior.
• Confident working directly with senior professionals and subject matter experts.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to contribute ideas.

Responsibilities

• Researching and writing high-quality articles, legal insights, thought leadership, case studies, campaign content and website resources
• Interviewing lawyers and subject matter experts and translating complex legal information into accessible, engaging content
• Identifying timely content opportunities around legal developments, emerging issues, cases and topics affecting our clients and communities
• Developing content that supports brand awareness, lawyer profile building, organic search visibility, audience education and lead generation
• Helping build the profiles of our lawyers through thoughtful, authoritative content
• Writing and optimising website content with SEO and evolving AI-driven search behaviour in mind
• Planning, writing and coordinating the firm's email and LinkedIn newsletters
• Repurposing long-form content for campaigns, email and social channels in collaboration with our Social Media & Digital Content Strategist
• Writing and editing landing pages, brochures, marketing collateral and campaign material
• Maintaining a consistent brand voice and ensuring content meets relevant professional and legal marketing requirements
