Job summary

UNSW Canberra is seeking a Content & Collections Librarian to manage the Academy Library's physical and digital collections and to support learning, teaching and research. You will handle acquisitions, cataloguing and improve digital services for the Canberra library.

The role requires a degree in Library and Information Studies or related field with ALIA eligibility, plus extensive collection management experience and strong stakeholder skills. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Library and Information Studies or Information Management with ALIA eligibility.
• Extensive experience in physical and electronic collection services.
• Experience with Ex Libris and Springshare software modules.
• Experience analysing collection and financial data for reports.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to lift up to 10 kg per WHS practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Scholarly Collections & Access and Digital Initiatives teams to support collection development.
• Provide expert advice and reporting on collection performance and materials budget.
• Coordinate library content across shared digital platforms to support discoverability and client experience.
