Job summary

RPS, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking an Environmental Scientist – Contaminated Lands in Perth, WA. This permanent, full-time role sits in the Oceans & Environment team and offers exposure to contaminated land investigations, data interpretation and reporting within a global network.

You will develop skills in field investigations, sampling programs and environmental risk assessment, progressing toward greater autonomy while coordinating with senior specialists on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years relevant experience in contaminated land or environmental consulting.
• Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Chemistry or related field.
• Experience with environmental site assessment, site investigations or sampling.

Responsibilities

• Undertake contaminated land and environmental site investigations.
• Plan and participate in fieldwork, inspections and sampling programs.
• Collect, manage, analyse and interpret environmental data.
• Prepare clear, accurate technical reports and environmental advice.
• Support remediation and site management projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across projects.
