Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist - Older Persons Mental Health to join a multidisciplinary team providing clinical care, treatment planning, and governance for consumers aged 65+ with mental illness and cognitive disorders in inpatient and community settings within a large metropolitan health service.

You will lead clinical care, supervise junior staff, liaise with GPs and aged care facilities, and contribute to education and research while maintaining

Qualifications

• FRANZCP or equivalent with advanced training in psychiatry of old age.
• AHPRA specialist registration in psychiatry.
• Strong leadership, teaching and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to recovery-oriented care and cultural safety.
