Job summary

Ecological Solutions on the NSW Central Coast is seeking a Consultant Ecologist to join our boutique practice and help lead projects across NSW.

You will deliver field surveys and write technical reports, coordinate with clients and engineers, and contribute to biodiversity assessments as the team grows.

This hybrid role offers growth, a company vehicle, and paid development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in ecology, environmental science, or similar.
• Clear, concise report writing and ability to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of NSW flora/fauna and GIS mapping benefits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver field surveys and technical reporting for NSW projects.
• Collaborate with Principal Ecologist, clients, planners and engineers.
• Conduct flora and fauna surveys, targeted species surveys, and BAM plots.
• Contribute to BDARs, BSAs, Flora & Fauna Assessments, and Reports.
• Travel locally/regionally for field surveys, including occasional night shifts.
