Job summary

BUSY Ability is seeking an Employment Consultant for a full-time fixed-term role based in Tweed Heads. You will manage a varied caseload under the Ex-Offenders Program, retrain and upskill clients, and partner with local employers to create sustainable employment opportunities.

This in-office role runs 8:30am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with a strong focus on performance, resilience, and client outcomes. The BUSY Group supports career growth and safeguarding across communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environments.
• Proficient with common computer software.
• Administrative experience in a professional setting.
• Ability to meet KPIs under pressure.
• Proven resilience solving complex client situations.
• Ability to obtain Blue Card and National Police Check.

Responsibilities

A bit about the role...

Working within a Workforce Australia specialist contract; Ex-Offenders Program as an Employment consultant means taking on the challenging yet fulfilling responsibility of assisting a diverse range of clients in securing sustainable meaningful employment. You'll manage a varied and active caseload, focusing on retraining and upskilling while forging partnerships with local employers to create opportunities. This role requires resilience, outstanding conflict resolution abilities, and a track record of meeting KPIs. If you're passionate about making a positive impact on individuals' lives and communities, this position is perfect for you!

This role is full time, fixed term until 30 June 2027 based in our Tweed Heads office. Working hours 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday, in office.
