Job summary

Qualifications

• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
• Experience mentoring construction learners and leading diverse groups.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Current Driver’s Licence and relevant construction tickets/certifications.
• Hands-on construction or trade industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentor learners and lead them through construction training.
• Deliver engaging training in construction subjects.

Trainers & Assessors – Multiple Positions Available

Challenge Employment & Training is growing, and we’re looking for passionate, qualified trainers to join our motivated team on a casual basis! We’re proud to support individuals in our community into meaningful training and employment pathways in Construction.

This role is ideal for construction professionals ready to step off the tools and into a role that genuinely changes lives — while still staying hands‑on!

We have exciting opportunities for trainers across the following areas:

• AHC30921 Certificate III in Landscape Construction
• RII30926Certificate III in Civil Construction
• RII40720Certificate IV in Civil Construction
• Various Plant and Machinery Tickets

What are we looking for?

You’re an experienced construction professional who enjoys mentoring others and leading learners from diverse backgrounds

• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)

• A positive attitude and a willingness to be part of a great team

• Recent, relevant construction or trade industry experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Confidence working with people from diverse backgrounds
• A current Driver’s Licence
• Relevant construction industry tickets/certifications
