Housing Industry Association (HIA) is seeking an experienced Trainer/Assessor to join our Learning team in a full-time role. The position offers delivery across building and construction qualifications, RPL support, learner onboarding and SME activities.

You will deliver both face-to-face and online training, with travel to metropolitan, regional and remote locations as required. The role covers multiple qualifications including CPC Building and Construction streams and requires current industry

Qualifications

• TAE Certification or higher as required by policy
• Experience delivering and assessing recognised training programs
• Knowledge of RTO requirements and ASQA standards
• Ability to support online and face-to-face delivery

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality training and assessment to students
• Manage RPL consultations and assessments
• Record results and ensure compliance with policies
• Support learner onboarding and orientation
• Participate in program review and continuous improvement
• Deliver evening/after-hours sessions as required
• Support Volume Builder program activities
• Engage with industry stakeholders and events
• Maintain trainer currency through PD activities
• Provide SME input and resource reviews
