The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd is seeking a mid-level Construction Site Manager to lead operations on live sites in and around Newcastle. You will coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety standards, and keep projects on schedule while protecting budgets.

Ideal candidates have strong site leadership experience, SMSTS/CSCS, and a proactive approach to resolving issues. This hands-on role offers clear reporting lines and potential progression within a growing SME.

Qualificações

• Experience as Construction Site Manager or similar site leadership role in residential or commercial builds.
• SMSTS and CSCS accreditation; first aid certificate advantageous.
• Knowledge of building regulations, health and safety laws, and programme management.
• Ability to read drawings and specs and spot issues before they cost money.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day operations across live sites around Newcastle from groundworks to handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers to keep programmes on track and costs under control.
• Run site inductions, toolbox talks and health and safety checks, enforcing standards.
• Liaise with clients, architects and project team to resolve issues before delays.
• Monitor quality against build specifications and sign off work at each stage.
• Report progress, risks and budget variances to senior management.
