Job summary

J and G Knowles and Associates Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks an experienced Rigger to join our construction team, undertaking rigging and lifting operations across multiple projects in the Melbourne metropolitan area.

You will work with crane crews and site personnel, follow lift plans and SWMS, inspect gear and maintain safe exclusion zones, while upholding WHS standards.

Qualifications

• Current High Risk Work Licence – Rigger.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Demonstrated experience in rigging operations within the construction industry.
• Sound knowledge of lifting procedures, load handling and safe work practices.
• Ability to read and follow lift plans, SWMS and site instructions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Safely sling, secure, lift and position construction materials and equipment.
• Work closely with crane operators and site personnel to coordinate lifting activities.
