Job summary

CDC Data Centres in Sydney is seeking a Construction Project Engineer to oversee large-scale projects from concept design to delivery, with a strong focus on financial and data reporting. You will ensure projects are financially viable, well-organised and executed efficiently.

The role requires coordinating across departments, maintaining documentation in Aconex and SharePoint, and delivering accurate weekly and monthly reports.

Qualifications

• Experience creating, presenting and providing insights on project-based data and financial reporting.
• Strong Excel and project tools proficiency for tracking budgets and schedules.
• Ability to manage stakeholder requirements and communicate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage financial and data reporting, forecasts, budgets, procurement and adherence to systems.
• Prepare and update weekly/monthly project reports for stakeholders using Aconex/SharePoint.
• Coordinate activities across all project phases from early works to handover and ensure schedules/compliance.
• Prepare procurement documentation, validate contractor claims, oversee expenditure approvals and payment certificates.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, facilitate project meetings and follow up on actions.
• Conduct project health-checks and ensure safety/confidentiality policies are followed.
