Norwest Recruitment - Western Sydney Recruitment Specialists is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist in Sydney to lead payroll processing during a system implementation and automation phase. The role supports 100+ employees across NSW/QLD under complex EBAs with a focus on accuracy and timely pay runs.

You will work within a changing payroll environment, collaborating with site managers and the finance team to ensure compliance and smooth transitions to streamlined processes.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll experience handling 100+ employees.
• Strong awards/EBA knowledge and payroll compliance.
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll including redundancies and entitlements.
• Ensure compliance with EBA conditions and allowances.
• Export payroll data from Deputy to MYOB and run pay runs.
• Support system implementation and automation initiatives.
• Communicate with site managers and employees to resolve queries.
• Assist year-end payroll updates and tax table changes.
