Job summary

Randstad is currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-established organisation in the construction sector. This is an ongoing full-time temporary assignment, based on-site at Nerang, earning $51.13 per hour plus super and responsible for end-to-end payroll for about 150 employees weekly.

The role requires interpreting awards and enterprise agreements, liaising with the finance team, and acting as the escalation point for complex payroll issues.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end payroll in high-volume environments.
• Experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements (construction sector preferred).
• Proficiency with payroll systems; SAP experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 150 employees across multiple awards.
• Interpret and apply awards and enterprise agreements accurately.
• Liaise with finance and stakeholders to support payroll operations.
• Escalate and resolve complex payroll issues.
• Administer ad hoc payments, statutory reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
