Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is partnering with a leading organisation on Brisbane's city fringe to recruit two Payroll Officers for an immediate start on a 3-month temporary assignment. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $45 plus super and the chance to contribute within a collaborative finance team.

You will deliver accurate and timely payroll services, support employees and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working as a Payroll Officer in medium to large organisations.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards, compliance and best practice.
• Experience processing high-volume payrolls with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll in accordance with legislation, awards and company policies.
• Validate, enter and maintain payroll data accurately.
• Prepare payroll for bank submissions and financial system processing.
• Complete payroll reconciliations and reporting activities.
• Process manual payments when required.

Are you an experienced Payroll Officer looking for your next contract opportunity? We are partnering with a leading organisation based on Brisbane's city fringe to recruit two Payroll Officers for an immediate start on a 3-month temporary assignment, paying $45 per hour + superannuation. Working within a collaborative finance team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely payroll services while supporting employees and stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience processing high-volume payrolls with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and reconciliation skills.
