Job summary

Coffey Testing in Ballina is hiring Construction Materials Testing Technicians at entry and experienced levels. You will sample soils, concrete and aggregates, perform tests, and record results while collaborating with site supervisors and engineers.

As your experience grows, you may manage testing programs across multiple sites and progress into senior technical or laboratory leadership roles. Training Academy and national benefits support your career growth.

Qualifications

• You are safety conscious and committed to quality in all tasks.
• You take pride in delivering accurate results and learn quickly.
• You can work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
• You are physically fit and able to lift loads up to 20 kg repeatedly.
• You hold a current driver's licence and can pass drug & alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Travel to project sites to perform field testing and sampling.
• Sample soils, aggregates, concrete and other construction materials.
• Perform tests per test methods, ensuring quality and integrity of results.
• Record and report results into Geotester and collaborate with site teams.
• Adapt to working across laboratories, sites, and field operations.
