Enerven is expanding into Queensland with the 400MW/1,600MWh Teebar Battery Energy Storage System, our first major project in the state and our first partnership with Atmos Renewables.
We’re building the team to deliver the civil and electrical balance of plant (BoP), including site preparation, integration of Valo battery technology, a 275 kV substation and overhead transmission lines.
Our people’s skills and experience make projects like Teebar possible. This is an opportunity to take on new challenges, work with local people and suppliers, and help deliver a battery that will provide four hours of storage to support Queensland’s energy future. At Enerven, safety comes first, with a focus on making sure everyone goes home safely each day.
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to take a key leadership role in the safe and successful delivery of the project.
Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and broader project team, you will lead construction activities on site, coordinating civil and electrical work fronts, supervisors, subcontractors and resources to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with program, quality and commercial requirements.
This is a full-time, 2-year fixed-term opportunity, based on site in regional Queensland.
The role will operate on an anticipated 10 days on / 4 days off roster and will be DIDO, with accommodation and transport arrangements provided in line with project requirements.
For the right construction leader, this is an opportunity to join Enerven at an important stage of our national growth and play a key role in delivering our first major Queensland project.
You’re an experienced construction leader who is comfortable taking ownership of complex, multidisciplinary project delivery in a site environment.
You bring strong construction fundamentals, can effectively lead multiple work fronts and understand what it takes to coordinate people, subcontractors, plant and interfaces across a major infrastructure project.
When you join Enerven, you are working for a team guided by its core values of dependability, proactiveness and collaboration.
Our broad industry skillset enables us to meet complex challenges with agility and expertise. Our team is at the forefront of change - building a more sustainable future by connecting Australia with tomorrow.

Enjoy flexible working conditions that ensure you can have a better work, life balance, all in a collaborative, safe and supportive work environment.
We value and respect the unique backgrounds and experiences of our employees, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. As members of the Diversity Council Australia, our employees can receive full access to research, events and expertise on all aspects of diversity and inclusion.
Given safety is at the forefront of everything we do, candidates will undergo comprehensive pre-employment screening, including a medical and a police check.
