Job summary

Multiplex is seeking a Construction Manager in Adelaide to provide senior leadership across the delivery of major commercial construction projects. You will drive safety, programme cadence, budget control and commercial performance while overseeing risk, resourcing and client relationships.

Based in Adelaide, the role entails leading project teams, negotiating with subcontractors, and ensuring continuous delivery from bid to final handover.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading delivery of large-scale commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methodologies, techniques and sequencing.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing project teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience across budgets, forecasting, contract administration and project profitability.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
• Experience managing construction risk, industrial relations and project compliance requirements.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and Building Code of Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership across delivery of construction projects, driving safety, programme, cost, quality and commercial performance.
• Oversee construction delivery, risk management, resourcing and project performance.
• Lead and develop project teams and build strong client relationships.
• Ensure projects are positioned to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with project leadership and stakeholders from bid through to delivery.
