Job summary

Multiplex is seeking a Services Manager to lead the coordination and delivery of building services across complex construction projects in Adelaide. You will own services from design through installation, testing, commissioning and handover, working with the project team, consultants and subcontractors to meet programme, cost, quality and safety targets.

Based in Adelaide, this full-time, permanent role requires guiding Services Engineers, managing design changes and procurement programmes, and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in design, coordination and installation of building services.
• Strong construction knowledge and understanding of building trades.
• Experience planning and managing programmes, including services design and procurement.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary building techniques and services delivery.
• Understanding of sustainability rating tools (Green Star, ABGR, BERS, BASIX).
• Knowledge of WHS/OH&S requirements and the Building Code of Australia.
• Ability to work with consultants, subcontractors, clients and project teams to drive services outcomes.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction, Building or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of multidisciplinary building services across projects.
• Manage services design and procurement programmes and oversee subcontractor delivery.
• Identify long-lead procurement requirements and resolve technical and services-related issues.
• Work with the Project Manager and project team to manage design changes and compliance with the project brief.
• Ensure building and critical services are delivered in line with regulatory requirements.
