CopiousTrading Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to oversee on-site crews in retaining wall and civil landscaping projects. The role combines hands-on leadership with coordination of plant, materials and site logistics, with a clear path toward Project Manager.

You will interpret drawings, verify levels, ensure safety, SWMS compliance, and progressively take ownership of project delivery while liaising with management, clients and suppliers.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold White Card CPCWHS1001 or equivalent.
• Excavator / Earthmoving tickets with operating proficiency.
• MR or HR truck licence is highly regarded.
• Proven experience leading retaining walls or civil construction projects.
• Strong communication with management and clients; plan and coordinate on site.

Key responsibilities

Lead a crew of 2-3 on site to ensure high-quality retaining wall builds.

Coordinate plant operation, materials dispatch, and site logistics daily.

Interpret engineering drawings and verify levels, posts, and drainage systems.

Enforce site safety, maintain SWMS compliance, and mitigate site hazards.

Progressively take ownership of complete project delivery.

Plan daily sequence, labour, plant, materials and deliveries.

Track productivity, labour hours and issues.

Communicate with management, clients, builders and suppliers.

About you

White Card (CPCWHS1001 or equivalent).

Excavator / Earthmoving tickets & practical operating proficiency.

MR or HR Truck Licence (highly regarded).

Proven experience in retaining walls or civil construction leadership.

Strong communication skills to liaise with management & clients.

Sound judgement, initiative and ambition to progress to Project Manager.
