CopiousTrading Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Leading Hand to oversee on-site crews in retaining wall and civil landscaping projects. The role combines hands-on leadership with coordination of plant, materials and site logistics, with a clear path toward Project Manager.

You will interpret drawings, verify levels, ensure safety, SWMS compliance, and progressively take ownership of project delivery while liaising with management, clients and suppliers.

Formación

• Must hold White Card CPCWHS1001 or equivalent.
• Excavator / Earthmoving tickets with operating proficiency.
• MR or HR truck licence is highly regarded.
• Proven experience leading retaining walls or civil construction projects.
• Strong communication with management and clients; plan and coordinate on site.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a crew of 2-3 on site to ensure high-quality retaining wall builds.
• Coordinate plant operation, materials dispatch, and site logistics daily.
• Interpret engineering drawings and verify levels, posts, and drainage systems.
• Enforce site safety, SWMS compliance, and mitigate site hazards.
• Progressively take ownership of complete project delivery.
• Plan daily sequence, labour, plant, materials and deliveries.
• Track productivity, labour hours and issues.
• Communicate with management, clients, builders and suppliers.
