Lawyers Weekly is recruiting a Construction & Infrastructure Lawyer to join our client’s ambitious team in Australia. The role targets mid-level lawyers with a strong grounding in front-end construction, infrastructure, or projects law and offers exposure to top-tier clients and projects.

You’ll advise on delivery strategies, draft complex agreements, and support development lifecycles, with mentoring and a clear path for advancement in a collaborative, hybrid-working environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' post-admission experience in front-end construction, infrastructure, or projects law
• Admitted to practice in an Australian state or Territory
• Genuinely want to take control of your career and want to learn from industry experts

Responsibilities

• Advise blue-chip developers and institutional landholders on project delivery strategies and legal risk
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of complex agreements, consultancy agreements
• Support end-to-end development lifecycles and infrastructure portfolios
• Navigate civil, mining and major construction project frameworks
• Guide contractors and subcontractors through complex contract submissions, procurement processes, and negotiations
• Collaborate with our disputes team on matters relating to contract enforcement, progress claims, security, variations, and defects
• Advise on infrastructure planning and funding agreements, aligning legal structures with regulatory frameworks
