Job summary

Montgomery Advisory in Sydney seeks a disputes lawyer focusing on construction, projects and infrastructure. You will act for major contractors across dispute resolution methods, including litigation, arbitration, mediation and expert determination across transport, utilities and renewable energy.

We are looking for a driven junior to mid-level lawyer with 1–5 years' experience in construction disputes, strong communication and analytical skills, and a robust team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years' experience in back-end construction law or disputes law focusing on construction.

Responsibilities

• Represent major contractors in dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, mediation and expert determination.
• Work across infrastructure, utilities, government and renewable energy projects.

As an upshot of growth, the Sydney office are now looking to hire a disputes lawyer to focus on construction, projects and infrastructure matters.

Construction, Projects and Infrastructure

The Sydney Construction, Projects and Infrastructure group work on some of the most significant infrastructure, construction, engineering, mining and renewable energy projects in the Asia-Pacific region for a range of public and private participants.

Position Description

You will act for principally major contractors on a mix of dispute resolution including litigation, arbitration, mediation and expert determination across infrastructure (transport and social), utilities (water, power, gas and telecommunications), government (defence, rail) and renewable energy.

Requirements

You will be a lawyer with 1 to 5 years' experience,in back-end construction law or a disputes lawyer looking to specialise in construction.
