Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is recruiting for Casual Construction Assistants on the Gold Coast, offering $35.11 per hour with 11.5% Super and a $22 daily travel allowance. Earn $1,400+ weekly with weekly Thursday pay and ongoing casual assignments.

Work across commercial and residential sites, with opportunities for permanent employment upon proven performance. Must have at least 12 months’ labouring experience, a Construction White Card and a valid driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Wheelbarrowing materials.
• Digging and trenching.
• Lifting and carrying materials.
• Assembling products and assisting tradespeople.
• General labouring duties as required.
