Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is currently seeking a Casual Construction Assistant on the Gold Coast. Earn $35.11 per hour with 11.5% superannuation and a $22 daily travel allowance, plus weekly pay and ongoing casual assignments.

Immediate start with potential pathways into permanent employment and WC insurance. Applicants should have at least 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant, a Construction White Card, a valid licence and reliable transport.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliability and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assembling products
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required
