Pinsent Masons LLP is seeking Associates for its national Construction Advisory & Disputes team based in Melbourne or Perth. You will advise on major construction, engineering, energy and resource projects across Australia and beyond, joining a market-leading practice with a strong focus on dispute resolution and advisory work.

We value candidates with 2+ years PQE, expertise in construction law, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with at least two years post-qualification experience.
• Expertise in construction law and dispute resolution.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness and willingness to pursue business development.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced high-performing team.
• Must have valid right to work in Australia and be eligible to practice law in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Advise on major construction, engineering, energy and resource projects across Australia.
• Represent clients in live projects and in dispute resolution processes (arbitration, court, mediation, adjudication).
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to mitigate risks and resolve disputes.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.
• Support senior lawyers on complex matters and mentoring junior lawyers.
