Job summary

Dass Labour Hire in Canberra is seeking experienced concreters, steelfixers and formworkers for the ACT Light Rail Stage 2A project. Immediate starts available for ongoing civil and rail structure work including footings, slabs, and track slab.

Casual engagement with a pathway to full-time for reliable, capable workers. Must have White Card CPCWHS1001 and experience in concreting, steelfixing or formwork. Own transport and tools highly regarded.

Qualifications

• CPCWHS1001 White Card (mandatory)
• Demonstrated experience in at least one of: concreting (pour, screed, finish), steelfixing, or formwork (conventional and system formwork)
• Reliable, on time, and committed to doing the job properly
• Able to work autonomously or with limited direction
• Previous FRP work experience is highly regarded
• Own transport and hand tools are advantageous

The work

Civil and rail structures on Stage 2A: footings, slabs, retaining walls, track slab and associated formwork and reinforcement

Ongoing project work with long-term hours for the right people

Casual engagement with a pathway to full-time for reliable, capable workers

What you need

Demonstrated experience in at least one of: concreting (pour, screed, finish), steelfixing, or formwork (conventional and system formwork)

Reliable, on time, and committed to doing the job properly
