Job summary

Keech Constructions Pty Ltd – Bathurst NSW is seeking experienced Concreters and Formworkers to join our team for ongoing projects across Central West NSW and regional NSW.

We offer full-time roles with competitive rates, flexible rosters (5:2 or 2:1), and immediate start for suitable applicants. Local applicants are preferred, with DIDO options available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in concreting and/or formwork.
• Experience within civil, commercial, industrial or mining construction preferred.
• Good understanding of concrete construction methods and/or formwork systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• White Card.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual construction work.
• Willingness to travel and work away when required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, installing and stripping formwork.
• Reading and working from construction drawings and plans.
• Steel fixing and reinforcement placement.
• Concrete pours, including placing, screeding, finishing and curing.
• Construction of slabs, footings, walls, drains and other concrete structures.
• Safe operation of hand and power tools.
• General construction and site duties as required.
• Working effectively as part of a crew and following site requirements.
• Travelling to regional NSW projects when required.

Keech Constructions is seeking experienced Concreters and Formworkers to join our team for ongoing and upcoming projects across Central West and regional NSW.

We are particularly interested in local applicants from the Central West, however DIDO applicants are also encouraged to apply. Depending on the project and individual circumstances, we are open to discussing roster arrangements including 5:2 and 2:1.

ABOUT US

Keech Constructions is a family-owned construction company based in Central West NSW, delivering concrete, civil and earthworks projects across the mining, industrial, commercial and civil sectors.

• Large-scale and complex concrete structures
• Formwork and falsework systems
• Structural and suspended slabs
• Footings, spoon drains and V-drains

THE ROLE

We are looking for experienced Concreters and Formworkers with skills across one or more of the following areas:

• Setting up, installing and stripping formwork
• Reading and working from construction drawings and plans

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated experience in concreting and/or formwork
• Experience within civil, commercial, industrial or mining construction preferred
• Good understanding of concrete construction methods and/or formwork systems

• White Card
• Current driver's licence
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual construction work

Trade qualifications in Carpentry, Concreting or Formwork are highly regarded but not essential for applicants with strong demonstrated experience.

DESIRABLE

• EWP or other High Risk Work licences
• Plant operating tickets such as Excavator or Skid Steer
• Heavy Vehicle Licence
• Previous mining or major project experience
