Job summary

Fraser Coast Regional Council is seeking an experienced Team Member for the Works Operations team to support concrete construction and maintenance across road, drainage and related infrastructure projects.

The role requires hands-on experience in form setting, finishing, kerb and channel works, and a MR Licence with White Card. A collaborative team environment and commitment to WHS standards are essential.

Qualifications

• General Construction Induction (White Card) required.
• Valid MR Licence recognised in Queensland.
• Demonstrated experience in concrete works, including form setting and finishing.
• Experience constructing kerb and channel, footpaths and culverts.
• Experience in road and drainage maintenance and construction activities.
• Ability to safely operate and maintain plant, tools and equipment.
• Understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and provide quality customer service.
• Basic digital skills to record work activities and service requests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver road, drainage and concrete construction and maintenance works
• Construct and finish concrete projects including kerb and channel, footpaths and culverts
• Operate and maintain Council plant, tools and equipment safely
• Undertake pre-start inspections and basic maintenance activities
• Apply traffic control and safe work practices in public environments
• Record completed works, timesheets and service requests using Council systems
