Job summary

Whittens is seeking a Concrete Pump Operator to support on our east coast projects. You will operate and maintain pumping equipment, perform pre-start checks, and assist with setup and breakdown on site.

The role requires at least five years of experience, a High Risk Boom Ticket, and a current HR class driver’s license. Strong safety focus and team collaboration are essential, along with good communication with crew and site management.

Qualifications

• High Risk Boom Ticket required.
• At least five years’ experience as a Concrete Pump Operator in construction/mining.
• Current Australia Driver's License (HR Class).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain concrete pumping equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of concrete pumping equipment on site.
• Conduct pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Perform concreting duties as needed to support the concrete crew.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations.
