Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking an experienced Concrete Plant Manager to lead the Moranbah concrete operations. This hands-on leadership role covers production, customer service, quality control and compliance, with FIFO/DIDO options.

You will manage resources, drive efficiency, grow relationships with customers in the region, and contribute to commercial insights while maintaining a strong safety culture. Local Moranbah residents encouraged; relocation or FIFO arrangements considered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in concrete, quarry, or construction materials.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing operational teams.
• Strong understanding of safety management systems and compliance.
• Experience with production planning and resource management.
• Current driver\'s license.
• Relevant supervisory or management qualifications are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships and identify commercial opportunities.

• Manage day-to-day batching, production, and dispatch operations.
• Ensure concrete products consistently meet quality and compliance standards.

• Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver outstanding service outcomes.

• Provide local market intelligence, including customer feedback, competitor activity, and project opportunities, to support commercial decision-making.

Concrete Plant Manager | Moranbah (FIFO/DIDO)

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Concrete Plant Manager to lead our Moranbah concrete operations. We welcome applications from local Moranbah residents, those willing to relocate, or candidates seeking DIDO options from Mackay or Rockhampton. FIFO arrangements may also be considered for exceptional applicants.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the concrete plant. This hands-on leadership role involves managing production, customer service, quality control, team performance, and compliance while ensuring exceptional outcomes for our customers and stakeholders. In addition to plant leadership responsibilities, you will support local customer engagement activities, helping to maintain key relationships, identify growth opportunities, and provide commercial insights across the locations within your area of responsibility.
