Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a Concrete Plant Manager for Moranbah to lead batching, production, and dispatch. The role covers safety leadership, quality control, cost management, and customer engagement, with FIFO/DIDO options and relocation consideration.

You will drive efficiency, improve processes, and maintain strong relationships across the region. You will report to the Area Manager and oversee site performance, workforce planning, and commercial insights to support growth

Qualifications

• Previous experience in concrete, quarry, construction materials, manufacturing, or industrial operations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing operational teams.
• Strong understanding of safety management systems and compliance.
• Experience with production planning, resource management, and customer service.
• Current driver's licence.
• Relevant supervisory or management qualifications are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships and identify commercial opportunities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to recognise market trends and customer needs.

Concrete Plant Manager | Moranbah (FIFO/DIDO)

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Concrete Plant Manager to lead our Moranbah concrete operations. We welcome applications from local Moranbah residents, those willing to relocate, or candidates seeking DIDO options from Mackay or Rockhampton. FIFO arrangements may also be considered for exceptional applicants.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the concrete plant. This hands-on leadership role involves managing production, customer service, quality control, team performance, and compliance while ensuring exceptional outcomes for our customers and stakeholders. In addition to plant leadership responsibilities, you will support local customer engagement activities, helping to maintain key relationships, identify growth opportunities, and provide commercial insights across the locations within your area of responsibility.
