Job summary

We are recruiting an experienced Concrete Batching Plant Operator to join a new precast concrete manufacturing operation in Dandenong South, Victoria. The role focuses on operating and monitoring a modern batching plant, ensuring high-quality concrete mixes and on-time production.

The successful candidate will manage batching quantities, mix designs and schedules, monitor moisture levels, admixtures and material consistency, and perform routine maintenance while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

• Experience operating a concrete batching plant.
• Strong understanding of mix designs and batching processes.
• Experience with automated or semi-automated batching systems.
• Good mechanical troubleshooting and fault finding.
• Ability to work independently and with a production team.

We are recruiting an experienced Concrete Batching Plant Operator on behalf of a client establishing a new precast concrete manufacturing operation in Dandenong South.

The facility features modern semi-automated production equipment and is seeking a reliable, experienced operator to take responsibility for concrete batching operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and monitor the concrete batching plant
• Produce consistent, high-quality concrete mixes for precast manufacturing
• Manage batching quantities, mix designs and production schedules
• Monitor moisture levels, admixtures and material consistency
• Perform daily plant inspections, cleaning and routine maintenance
• Identify and troubleshoot batching equipment faults
• Coordinate concrete supply with the precast production team
• Maintain accurate production and quality control records

ABOUT YOU

• Previous experience operating a concrete batching plant
• Strong understanding of concrete mix designs and batching processes
• Experience with automated or semi-automated batching systems
• Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and within a production team
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Experience in precast concrete manufacturing would be highly regarded.
