Job summary

Tecside Group is seeking a motivated and reliable Concrete Plant Batcher / Shipper to join our team in Melbourne. This hands-on role ensures accurate batching, scheduling of concrete orders, and smooth plant operations in a fast-paced environment.

Monday to Friday 6:00am - 4:00pm, $38.00 - 40.00. Full training provided; batching experience is not essential, and candidates with transferable skills are encouraged to apply. A safe, collaborative culture and long-term opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Experience in batching, dispatching, production scheduling, logistics, manufacturing, transport, or related industries is highly regarded.
• Current LF (Forklift) and/or FEL (Front End Loader) licences are desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately batch concrete orders in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards
• Schedule and coordinate concrete deliveries to meet customer timeframes
• Monitor and manage raw material inventory levels
• Perform plant administration and production reporting duties
• Operate plant equipment, including loaders (where licensed and trained)
• Maintain plant cleanliness, housekeeping, and general maintenance standards
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Deliver a high level of customer service when liaising with customers, drivers, and internal stakeholders

This is a diverse and hands-on role responsible for the accurate batching and scheduling of concrete orders, coordinating deliveries, managing plant operations, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Full training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and develop within the business. Concrete batching experience is not essential. Candidates with batching experience from other industries, or those with transferable skills and a willingness to learn, are encouraged to apply.
