Job summary

Blackwoods Readymixed in Warragul, VIC is seeking a Concrete Agitator Driver to safely deliver concrete to residential, commercial and civil projects across the region. You will help maintain a modern fleet and support our Gippsland operations.

The role requires a current HR licence, a clean VicRoads history, and a strong commitment to safety. Training and development are provided, with full-time or part-time hours and work near home in Gippsland.

Qualifications

• Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence required.
• Clean VicRoads Driver History prior to employment.
• Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Safely delivering concrete to customer sites.
• Managing slump tolerance levels and safe discharge of concrete.
• Conducting daily pre-start inspections and maintaining safety standards.
• Keeping vehicle clean and well maintained.
• Assisting with general plant and yard maintenance as required.

About the Role

As a Concrete Agitator Driver, you'll play a key role in delivering quality concrete safely and efficiently to residential, commercial and civil projects throughout the region.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely delivering concrete to customer sites
• Managing slump tolerance levels and the safe discharge of concrete
• Conducting daily pre-start inspections and maintaining safety standards
• Keeping your vehicle clean and well maintained
• Assisting with general plant and yard maintenance as required

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence (essential)
• A clean driving record (VicRoads Driver History required prior to employment)
• Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment

The following will be viewed favourably:

• Minimum 1 year's experience in the concrete industry
• White Card (or willingness to obtain before commencing employment)
