Job summary

CraigCare Group in Moonee Ponds, VIC is seeking a Concierge for a permanent part-time position (30 hours per fortnight), Monday to Friday with flexible timings. The role focuses on turning a house into a home, building relationships with residents and families, and delivering warm, person-centred service.

You’ll join a supportive team, with opportunities to grow within the aged care sector, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive community for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience in aged care, hospitality, customer service, or a people-focused role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of aged care standards and quality principles.
• Experience supporting people living with dementia is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create meaningful connections with residents and families, taking the time to understand their preferences, interests, and needs.
• Support new residents and their families through a smooth, welcoming admission experience.
• Assist residents with planning their daily routines, appointments, activities, and social engagements.
• Help coordinate lifestyle experiences that encourage participation, independence, and wellbeing.

You will have:

• Experience in aged care, hospitality, customer service, or a similar people-focused environment will be highly preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
• Excellent communication skills with a calm, compassionate, and professional approach
• Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing needs
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team
• A commitment to delivering exceptional experiences and outcomes for residents and families
• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act, and Quality of Care Principles
• Experience supporting people living with dementia is highly desirable
