Job summary

Air Receiver Testing Australia Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a practical Field Service Technician with mechanical aptitude to join our on-site team. You’ll perform in-service inspections of air receivers, test safety relief valves, install and modify compressed air pipework, and complete service reports for diverse customers.

The role involves travel across South East Queensland and Northern NSW, working at workshops and large industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification or demonstrated hands-on mechanical experience.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel including overnight regional work.
• Experience with compressed air systems, air receivers, pneumatic equipment, plumbing or industrial maintenance is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-service inspections of air receivers.
• Test and tag pressure safety relief valves.
• Install and modify compressed air pipework and components.
• Work with mechanical tools, fittings and compressed air equipment.
• Identify equipment defects, safety concerns and maintenance requirements.
• Complete accurate inspection reports and service documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site.
• Travel throughout South East Queensland and Northern NSW.
