Job summary

Solskin Beauty Labs Pty Ltd is seeking an organized, detail-oriented professional for compounding and batch manufacturing, with GMP-compliant practices and quality procedures. You will weigh, dispense materials, blend bulk products, and ensure documentation and traceability align with batch records.

The role includes a six-month probation with monthly reviews. Based in Carrum Downs, Victoria, the company specializes in personal care products and packaging for diverse brands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years compounding experience, preferably in the beauty/cosmetics industry.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Exceptional communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement, with a positive outgoing attitude.
• Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities and/or projects with deadlines.
• Experience in using Google Drive and Microsoft Excel.
• Valid driver's license and own transport.

Responsibilities

• Weighing and dispensing raw materials accurately according to batch sheets and master batch records.
• Able to comfortably lift up to 20 kg.
• Compounding and blending bulk product in accordance with GMP requirements and approved manufacturing methods.
• Following all documented procedures, including batch instructions, order of addition, heating/cooling steps, and mixing requirements.
• Operating and monitoring blending equipment and ensuring correct mixing times, temperatures, and batch consistency.
• Completing batches in a timely manner and identifying opportunities to improve batch processes, efficiency and consistency.
• Completing all manufacturing documentation accurately, including batch records, ingredient traceability, and process checks.
• Maintaining high attention to detail to ensure all ingredients are added correctly and in the correct sequence.
• Identifying and reporting any deviations, issues, or inconsistencies during the batching process.
• Working closely with the Quality team to ensure in-process checks are completed and product meets specifications prior to release.
• Picking and pulling raw materials as required for internal manufacturing and customer order fulfillment.
