Job summary

Beyond Bank is seeking a dedicated Compliance professional to join the Risk and Compliance team. You will provide regulatory guidance, support incident management and reporting, and help maintain the Bank's Compliance Framework.

The role involves partnering with stakeholders, interpreting requirements, and driving governance improvements to support a purpose-led organisation across Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services compliance, risk, audit or regulatory advisory.
• Ability to interpret complex legislation and regulatory requirements and provide clear, practical advice.
• Sound knowledge of banking regulations and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills to identify trends and assess risk.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to present complex information clearly.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical compliance advice and guidance to help the business meet regulatory obligations.
• Analyse and interpret legislation, prudential standards, industry codes and regulatory requirements relevant to the Bank.
• Partner with project and business teams to support regulatory change initiatives and business improvements.
• Assist with the management of compliance incidents, including investigations, regulatory assessment, remediation, and reporting.
• Support the ongoing enhancement of the Bank's Compliance Framework, policies, procedures and governance practices.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation and promote compliance awareness.
