Job summary

Coonamble Shire Council is seeking a full-time Compliance Operator - Utilities to manage the operation of water supply and sewer systems in line with NSW requirements. The role includes quarterly readings of all domestic, industrial, and commercial water meters and ensuring safe field practices.

The ideal candidate will have plumbing operation experience and knowledge of backflow prevention. A WHS Construction Induction Card and a valid Drivers Licence are required for this position, which is

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general plumbing operations.
• Knowledge of backflow prevention is highly regarded.
• WHS Construction Induction (White) Card and Drivers Licence required.

Job description

Applications are invited for the full-time permanent position of Compliance Operator - Utilities. This position is responsible for completing effective and efficient works related to the operation of water supply and sewer systems in accordance with the requirements of Council, NSW Office of Water, EPA an NSW Health Department. This role will be responsible for completing Councils quarterly readings of all domestic, industrial and commercial water meters.

Ideally the successful applicant will have knowledge and demonstrated experience in general plumbing operations, knowledge of backflow prevention would be highly regarded also. This position will require a WHS Construction Induction (White) Card and Drivers Licence.
