Job summary

Upper Lachlan Shire Council is seeking a Water and Sewer Service Operator to operate and maintain water and sewer plants, infrastructure and networks across the Upper Lachlan Shire. The role is based in Crookwell with regular travel and a fortnightly rostered day off to support work-life balance.

Successful candidates will undergo training in water industry operations, hold a White Card, and possess a valid Class C driving licence.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn how to operate and maintain the water and sewer network.
• WHS General Construction Induction (White) card.
• Current Class C Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Council's water and sewer plants, infrastructure and networks.
• Undertake maintenance, routine housekeeping, improvement work and inspections.
• Collect, analyse, maintain and report operational information and data.
