Job description

We’re looking for a Compliance Officer to join us on a 6-month contract, supporting and strengthening our compliance framework through the maintenance of key compliance registers, reporting, and quality assurance activities across the business.

Working closely with underwriting, claims and leadership teams, you’ll play an important role in helping ensure our operations remain aligned with regulatory obligations and internal standards. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with process, data and governance, while contributing to continuous improvement across the organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Maintain compliance registers, ensuring accuracy, completeness and audit readiness
  • Support internal and external compliance reporting activities
  • Assist with quality assurance reviews across underwriting and claims functions
  • Conduct structured QA reviews using established checklists and frameworks
  • Analyse QA findings and compliance data to identify trends, gaps and risks
  • Prepare clear and meaningful reporting to support oversight and decision-making
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to support consistent compliance practices
  • Contribute to improving compliance frameworks, reporting processes and data capture
  • Support the transition from manual processes to more scalable and structured systems
  • Assist in strengthening governance, operational consistency and regulatory alignment
What You Bring
  • Experience in compliance, quality assurance, claims, underwriting operations or a related environment
  • Understanding of compliance obligations and regulatory frameworks within financial services or insurance
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to prepare clear, structured documentation and reporting
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational capability
  • Confidence working with process, data and structured workflows
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Sound judgement and the ability to identify and escalate risks appropriately
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
