Our client is a broker centric specialist underwriting agency is seeking a Senior Risk and Compliance Officer to join their Legal Risk and Compliance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong General Insurance background who enjoys working closely with the business and senior stakeholders, rather than simply ticking compliance boxes.

About the Role

You’ll be involved across:

• Risk and compliance frameworks and processes
• Risk assessments, control testing and compliance reviews
• Incident, issue and complaints management
• Compliance reporting, training and continuous improvement
• Working closely with senior stakeholders and the Risk and Compliance Committee

About You

• 5+ years’ Risk and Compliance experience within General Insurance
• Strong understanding of insurance and regulatory requirements
• Practical experience with risk and control frameworks
• Confident stakeholder management and communication skills
• Commercial, proactive and hands‑on approach
• MGA / Underwriting Agency experience highly regarded
