Job summary

Peabody Energy Corporation is seeking a Complex Services Maintenance Planner for the Wambo Mine in the Hunter Valley, NSW. The role reports to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and is based on site, with a Monday to Friday roster and a focus on coordinating maintenance across diverse assets.

You will develop maintenance plans, create work packs, and manage SAP PM work orders, while coordinating contractors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, or related discipline.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in mining, heavy industry or infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and asset reliability principles.
• Proven experience using SAP PM.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• A strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage maintenance plans and schedules for Complex Services assets.
• Create work packs, job scopes and resource requirements for maintenance activities.
• Manage maintenance notifications and work orders within SAP.
• Support shutdowns, major maintenance projects and statutory compliance activities.
• Analyse asset performance data and identify reliability improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate contractors, service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and maintain accurate asset and maintenance records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability and asset performance.
